What are the issues when implementing a new method such as PRINCE2 ?

Many organisations put a lot of effort in new approaches and methods. Money and time are invested in training. Tools, like software are purchased. But what are the results?
I believe it is underestimated that change of working practices has broad consequences on different levels. Change of behaviour and culture must be endorsed by all levels of organisations. Change affects people and must be promoted and lead with vision and with attention for human aspects.

This article shows, with examples, considerations for a fundamental and successful introduction of a new approach or method such as PRINCE2, MSP or Lean/SixSigma.
